I've noticed this a few times now.
When in a heavily populated area that suffers lag in the 1000's ms, even moving to other zones the game still lags. I originally thought it was just a case of the lag meter isreporting until it caught up (if taking averages). But if I exit game reboot router and log back in everything is fine. Logging back in without rebooting router doesn't help.
As far as I'm concerned the router and my connection is fine. But when inside WoW game world I suffer this persistent lag after leaving notorious areas in city zones. Anyone have issue, or able to explain? Using a Netgear DG834Gv3 (Sky DG934G unlocked) with wired connection.
