Just wondering if anyone can recommend something for the cookie consent that I believe most sites need now. I will have a look at the WP add-ons library but no doubt there are loads so thought someone here might have used one?
I'm not sure if it's still true (the EU may have updated the rules) but you should be able to get away with a 'This site uses cookies' message.
Also the rules allow you set set cookies that are necessary for the operation of your site e.g. authentication cookies.
3rd party cookies are a problem if you use embedded widgets from twitter etc. so you'd do well to avoid them or use plugins which access their APIs rather than using vendor widgets.
