i looked into it but i'm a complete novice and decided to learn some html / css instead. still plan on getting into it at some point as i can see WP7 really taking off over the next few years and it could be a valuable skill but it would be a hobby at most.
I was working through the tutorials on this website which i found quite easy to follow.
I have started off very simple following a few tutorials, I have managed to make a "hello world" app and some other basic things.
I am going to keep following tutorials for a bit and see how I get on. I have found the biggest problem is actually coming up with an idea for an app :\
I recently started with WP7, just messing around really. I find the Channel9 webpage really helpful along with the App developer hub hosted by microsoft themselves http://create.msdn.com/en-US/. Theres a tonne of example code snippets and entires solutions on there for you to download and pull apart.
When i was at uni my Software Engineer lecturer used to tell me "a new piece of software is 20% new code and 80% code stolen from others and made to look like new code"..... so i find the code snippets very handy
