Wrapping a graphics card in bubble wrap

If I was to send an old graphics card through the post wrapped in bubble wrap, rather than an 'all singing, all dancing' anti-static bag, would I risk damaging it?

thanks for the replies. whats the difference with, say, ram? I have recently bought some brand new and it was shipped in a standard plastic container.

Use paper first. I sold a motherboard and sent it wrapped in platic. The person I sent it to understandably didn't want to risk it, so they sent it back. I had to rebuild the system to check it still worked.
