WRC 3 DEMO

uninstalled in rage :( looks not to bad but it doesn't see my steering wheel so have no force feed back on steering options. also cant change graphics or other things while playing :confused: it really does confuse me how they can release games with such bugs.
 
I downloaded demo yesterday mate, really liked it. Yeh it is a bit crap not being able to change graphics in game, you have to do it in the launcher before playing.

I found that turning motion blur off and AA at 2x, vsync off gives best results, the game was running maxed out at 100+ fps and was really nice, looks to have a great selection of tracks. Definitely worth a try if you fancy rally games, real rally games.
 
I played wrc 2 and its a great game with a force feedback wheel, the ffb is really well done.

Would probably lose a lot of its appeal without a ffb wheel.
 
well basically cause i couldn't get wheel to be recognized i couldnt adjust it

if you get your wheel to be accepted then im sure its fine :p

as you know force feed back and other things like that are important

also on rotation i had to have it at 60 degrees :confused: to get it to react even half good and that was poor.

Full game does suffer from stuttering so recommend the above - no motion blur and 2xAA instead of 4xaa plus turn off vsync. The special stage first featured is ripped from wrc2 lol but looks a lot better.
 
I bought this the other day, and must admit it's nice to have a pure rally game without all the bloated guff, that certain games of that genre seemed to be full with these days.
Only thing i'm not to fussed on is the 90's retro characters you have in "The road to glory mode".

Feels dated somewhat.
 
Can't even get the demo to start unless I disable sounds, and then it doesn't recognize my wheel buttons.

Milestone really are a **** developer.
 
How the hell do you even view the controls let alone change them?? It actually looks alright considering all I've read online about how terrible it looks, but trying to setup my xbox controller is proving impossible..

edit: nevermind, found it. have to exit game to change a control too :rolleyes:
