Other thing I would add was the 3d added nothing to the film, nothing seemed to stick out of make any use of the 3d features.

SAw this today (in 2D) and thought it was a really good film. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I thought it was a very good film, the cameo's had me grinning ear to ear 
I think the people complaining about the lack of actual game characters being used enough, would be the same people complaining that the film was **** because it was a weak film which was just banking on the affiliation with known characters, if they'd plastered them all over the place and gave them the majority of lines. Can't win, lol. Watched it the other day, enjoyed it, even from before watching it, I knew it wouldn't be a gamers wankfest, so came into it with that expectation, so wasn't disappointed; as some were.

I saw it on a plane back from San Francisco last week. I really enjoyed it, even all the Candy Land bits. And I've been an avid gamer for the past 28+ years.

Felt kinda old when I went to see this the other week.
Was laughing away at the scene in Tappers, mainly because I actually remember the game, then a kid behind me yelled out "Look it's Mario!"
Was tempted to turn round and slap the parents for not educating their kids, it was the Tapper barman, not Mario

I watched this on Friday night. I thought it was brilliant all the way through (the first half was better though).

Only thing that spoiled this a little for me is Sarah Silvermans voice. I find her very annoying and although she did a good job, the fact that I knew it was her behind it annoyed me

I like the way it started, but it was too drawn out in the middle, and tailed off towards the end. All the scenes from "candy land" (should have been actual mario kart) are pretty much yawn.
