Morning. I'm just wondering whether it's possible for me (being extremly lazy when it comes to writing text messages) to use my PC to write SMS messages that I then send with my phone?

The phone in question is a T mobile MDA vario (WM 5.0) and is connected to the PC via a USB lead and active synch. I would have thought there is some sort of free/cheap solution to such a scenario out there. Thanks!

You can do that with Float's mobile agent, very handy little program that lets you do all kinds. Even better if you have bluetooth on your PC aswell, just auto connects and away you go, even backs up text messages :)

i use jeyo's mobile extender for outlook, backs up all your text messages in outlook with all the other things activesync does. (can also write and read messages through it)

Ah yes -Mike- it appears that you're right, Float's doesn't seem to like Windows Mobile (it just gets stuck at the 'connecting' stage). The Outlook Extender thing looks like quite a good options I'll have a play with that. Thanks again everyone!
