Writing Apple Script

I want to be able to write a simple apple script to change the tags on some of my songs in itunes when I highlight them. How would I go about this?

I just want a script that I can run from the itunes script menu to easily retag them. I want to set the Album Artist, Album Name and a few other tags to pre-chosen ones.

I dont want to edit the tags to their real album things.

I put all my blog music into an album thats got a certain name and a certain number of set items, like album artist, sort artist, artwork etc, and i want to be able to mass set that through a script..
