Wrong coils?

I bought a couple of metres of 5/8'' UV reactive tuving coils to go on my 7/16'' tubing.

Did I get the wrong size, or is there some special technique for putting these things on I'm not aware of?

I just can't get them on properly - either 'screwing' them on to an open end of tubing, or wrapping them round connected tubing, they're so stiff that it hurts my thumbs trying to even them out on the tubing....so all I can get is a load of coil at one end, which is obviously pointless

I share your pain. I had the same problem getting the 3/4" coils over the same OD tubing. To say it was quick and painless would be lying.

Takes time. Untwist them slightly as u push them on so the coils become lose.

5/8 should work with 7/16 tubing, i'm using it on masterkleer, fits okay.

Yep you have the right size, and it's a pita trying to get them on :/ With mine I twisted the coils around the tubing and then spread the coils out so they were evenly spaced. My thumbs were quite sore afterwards

Mine were'nt that bad, I think some coils must be made of thicker/stiffer material or something. I really didnt have a problem, just kinda wrapped it around the tubing.
