Wrong memory speed in bios

Im sure this problem is quite common, I happened to notice in my bios that it has 1333mhz registered for the ram when it is 1600mhz.

The ram is 8gb corsair dominator platinum on a Asus Maximus v Formula board.
I'm running Windows 7 ultimate 64bit and an i5 3570k.

I would have changed it, but it doesn't give the option to so I am assuming that it's read the speed off the ram?

Can anyone help me?
Will my ram run at 1600mhz even though it's not registered at that or will it only run at the speed that the bios has picked up?

I'm not to sure how to fid that, these are the sections i have in my bios, any idea what section would it be in out of these; Extreme Tweaker, Main, Advanced, Monitor, Boot and Tool?
I realise that all bios' will be different but nothing that I can see sticks out mentioning what you've said above.
