Wrong RAM in bundle

I have purchased a bundle from a competitor - Ryzen 1700 o/c to 3.8GHz. The memory was supposed to be 2 x 4Gb of 2400Mhz RAM on their website, but they have installed 3000MHz RAM. Strangely, their quality sheet has ticked off 2400Mhz despite the packaging (and invoice!) stating 3000MHz.

Is this going to effect the overclock? I guess you could argue it is slightly slower due to the looser timings on the sticks too?!

You should immediately inform the company of their mistake, send back the unauthorised ram and await your slower but correctly specced memory.

LOL that sounds like a multiple choice answer from the driving theory test.

Invoice says 3000MHz then warranty shouldn't be an issue as you have it on paper that that's what was provided.
