Hi all,

When I select my network from the connect to menu and click status, it says that my speed is 54.0 Mbps, but I have a BT HomeHub 2.0 which is Wireless-N and my wi-fi adaptor is also Wireless-N, should I not be getting 150.0 Mbps? also, IPv6 connectivity says no network access

regards,
James

How far are you from the hub? Does the speed increase as you move the PC closer to it? Distance and inteference can affect the speed you get.

hub is downstairs and i am upstairs, but the signal ranges from 1 bar to full?

also, I forgot to mention, when i first upgraded to wireless-n, it said 130.0 Mbps

do you have a wep or wpa/wpa 2 security key?

Wep maxes out at 54mb, whereas wpa/wpa 2 will do the full whack :-)
