WRT54G Firmware Problem...

Current Firmware Version : v4.20.7

I want to upgrade to 1.00.6 released 1/17/2006.

But everytime i try and upgrade it, it will process for about 3 seconds then say 'Upgrade Are Failed'

What can i do to get round this?

Is the firmware for the correct version of the WRT54g? I know that the V5 in particular is drastically different to previous models.

Not to any of us, but it might be useful if you checked the firmware you're trying to install is for a v2 WRT54G.

For what it's worth, the Linksys site suggests the latest version for the WRT54Gv2 is v4.20.7, from the 25th of August 2005.

Looks like i have the latest version then.

Bit annoying they havnt updated the older versions.
