I have two PCs upstairs (without wireless) and a wifi router downstairs.
I'd like to use my WRT54GL to connect to the wireless downstairs and serve it to the two PCs over a wired network.
I'm not sure this is possible...
I'm running Tomato on the Linksys and while I can see the downstairs wireless router using the "Wireless Survey" option, I can't figure out how to connect to it.
The wireless modes the Linksys offers are:
Access Point
Access Point + WDS
Wireless Client
Wireless Ethernet Bridge
WDS
I would assume I would want Client or Bridge, but both of these options seem to create a new wireless network, rather than allow me to connect to an existing one.
Can someone put me out of my misery and say it isn't possible, or tell me how if it is?
Thanks!
