Anyone here serious e-sports fans?

Some of you will be aware that the WSVG (world series video games) ended yesterday. I have been following the event on TSN (team sports network) www.tsncentral.com with their great coverage and commentary on the live games and I thought it was a great event thoroughly enjoyed it. 2006 being WSVG's first year I thought it was very impressive, the prizes while no where near CPL money were decent and thus attracting all of the top players and clans in the world. Fatal1ty, SK, converge etc. and being a hardcore cs 1.6 bloke in my opinion this years wsvg cs 1.6 matches have been the best I've ever seen including CPL, WCG etc.

Very impressed, roll on CPL winter!!!

i remember when tribes2 was dying and news of tribes:vengeance(worst game ever) was surfacing.
we were putting in place a new european ladder comp and shoutcast network for all the upcomming games ,
some of TSN's reps wanted in and we did a few friendly matches to get going which were fun, shame t:v turned out to be the worst game ever and the ladder never got started :(
some casts are really good and you can nick tactics and get more insight into clan gaming.

Pentagram are the number 1 ranked cs 1.6 clan in the world according to gotfrag

http://www.gotfrag.com/cs/rankings/

however not for long, it hasn't been updated since before the wsvg finals in new york.

Team aTTax (GER) beat 3D (USA) in the final, it was 15 - 15 such a close game but attax won in overtime.

Big upset tbh, all the best cs clans were there and aTTax aren't even ranked in the top 10.

aTTAX are also losing Kapio at the end of the year, he's moving to mousesports. It's a shame, they have such good potential.
