WTD : DigiCamera v3

Now I have asked here before and havent gotten any precise answers, I just need a simple basic good quality photos (at 12x8 if possible), bit of a zoom, stabilizer as im shaky and no blurring

I have seen;

Kodak EASYSHARE C643 £120

Canon Powershot A530 Digital Camera £135-150

I like them both but looking at reviews and it says the Kodak is too cheap and the canon is better but im not sure why so..

What can i get for £100-175 that will do everything i want,

I've got a Powershot A80 yes its an old camera but it still takes fantastic pictures, and if i was looking for a new one, even though i would research it, i would still be in favour of the canon simply because of how blinding the powershot is, such a small compact easy to use camera, but its fantastic. I'll upload a few piccies in a minute
