Using X64 VMC, Terratec 2400i doesn't and apparently neither does NOVA-T 500 :(

Any recommendations?

Cheers

I would have thought one with a USB ir receiver would, if you set the bios to resume from usb device.
If you find one that does the job please share as i would like to know as well :)
Its the only thing that anoys me about htpc setups

My Compro DVB-T200 single channel has a feature to wake the PC up 5 minutes before a recording and the shuts it down so have a lookie at Compros website.

My NOVA-T 500 certainly wakes up from S3 on both 32bit versions of XPMC and VMC. It may not be an issue with your cards, but rather a software/hardware conflict preventing it from waking correctly.

I have a NOVA-T 500 and it woks almost perfect with S3 Vista Media Centre.

The only issue I have had is if you resume from S3 and then instantly try to watch live TV you will get a no tuner error.

If you resume from S3 and leave it for a few seconds it works fine.

All I can guess at is that Vista allows user interaction before it has fully woken up devices.

Interesting, I've just sent a NOVA T 500 back and replaced it with the Terratec 2400i. I'm not using VMC but I am using Vista Business 64 running media portal. The nova card entirely failed to resume from S3 sleep (may be one time in ten it worked even in the machine was left for several minutes to get itself up and running) - spent ages looking for and trying various fixes. Just (as in this afternoon) plugged the Terratec in and it worked immediately, no problems with S3, all seems good.
