WTF, 5.1 suddenly died?!

Recently bought an Audigy, and am running it in my rig (spec in sig). Set up the card using the digital DIN out connected to an Inspire 5700 amp unit. Fired up Counter-Strike Source yesterday and ran the Audio Test and I got perfect output from all 5 speakers.

Tried it again today and I am only getting output from the L/R speakers?! C, LS and RS aren't producing any output at all. I haven't changing ANY settings afaik. Why has it suddenly borked??

Hi,

have you got it set to use the same speaker setup as the desktop ? if so check under control panel. On my Audigy 4 theres a little tick box for this setting - dunno if it's like that on yours (Windows may have defaulted to a 2 speaker setting and overridden the driver).

Yeah I have that checked and I have set everywhere possible to 5.1... it just stopped working

Have you tried re-installing the drivers.

Yeah, used driver cleaner in-between as well

have u checked all cables pluged properly might be a dodgy connection you never know ???
