WTF! - Arch Linux releases "Archinstall" For Quick/Easy Installations

Genuinely shocked at this. I mean the Arch install is easy enough anyway tbf, but they have always been vehemently against this. "Arch is simple, the user should understand the system and know how it's put together and how it works"... And now a hand holding installer? Trying it in Vmware Fusion Pro now for lulz.

...And it's now a day later, after I saved the above as draft (thought I'd posted it). The installer script is nice and easy. It basically just hand holds you through the normal install, skipping steps like setting locale (which defaulted to en_US.utf8 for me so be wary of that). It defaulted to systemd-boot which is nice. I've never had a VM boot so fast before, even on my ancient mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Literally a second or two and it's ready to log in from cold start. GRUB2 takes wayyyy longer than that. Impressive. Gnome 40 looks nice on Arch too - I'm using it on Fedora 34 pre-release atm.
