Wtf happened to the "hai guyz I found an acorn" thread?

There was a brilliant thread yesterday (or maybe the day before) about someone that thought their pine cone was an acorn.

I'd love to know what begging techniques he employed to get it removed. Was hoping to revisit that today for a chuckle.
