WTF is going on with my Sky Q Minibox (not waking - tested everything)!?

Bit lost for what to try now..

My setup is:

Sky Q with 3 additional boxes. They all used to work fine eg TV on standby, wake the box it wakes the TV and off we go.

Since we had the kitchen redone the one in the kitchen more often than not but not 100% of the time seems to "hang" and needs to have it's power chord pulled before it will wake up.

As part of the kitchen we got a new TV (Samsung QLED) and had a wired network port put in because I've never been able to rely on the Sky Q wifi, we had multiple engineer visits when we first moved in as it couldn't hold a signal and eventually gave up and wired it.

The box lives tucked behind the screen.

However, to try and diagnose this I have tried:

Moving between wired and wireless
Changing the box to a known working one
A whole new box
Pulling it out from behind the TV

The same thing happens all the time... so the only constant now is the TV itself.

Any ideas? It's super annoying having to yank the box out from behind the TV to pull the power cable but it's the only thing that works?
 
I'd just contact Sky and describe the issue with the box, hopefully they should be able to replace it FoC.

edit: Wait, are you saying that putting a working box in place will have the same issue?

Anything around that is interfering with Bluetooth?

You can request an exchange yourself so I did and I've swapped it with a box I know works fine... the one I put in the kitchen started doing the same thing where the one that was doing weird stuff got moved to the bedroom and again started working fine?
