WTF is going on with Xbox Live?

Is anyone else having problems with Xbox Live atm? Started about 30 mins ago. I join a game on Mortal Kombat...5 seconds later...extreme lag, sometimes causing the console to crash.

Decided to go on Skate. It crashes when trying to sign into EA nation.

I remember that, it was on and off for a while, then i think there was a total crash, to many people getting 360's for Christmas

With people paying 40 pound a year if live doesn't run like heaven over Christmas some will need a kick in the butt cheeks.

They're prepared for this year, hence the downtime other day.

Just hope that all these sales increase are no more than they expected otherwise we'll have another outrage
