Thats a human hair next to it - about 1.5cm long and a cm fat. It had no legs and kinda wandering across my study floor like a catapillar (but no legs). Found two so far, one on friday and one just now.

That is pretty odd whatever it is, Pick it up put it in a glass jar and sell it on eBay!!

I went to make a cup of tea earlier and found 2 spiders floating in the milk, that was pretty odd as well
