Seems like a 'do not throw in bin' to me, good present... useful for labelling things you dont want thrown away

Usually has that when the item has batteries in it. Hence my "something she'd sit on" post.

Looks like to me that it is still in its packaging (the plasticy stuff you just about tead with your hands) and hence the shiny-ness.

Also looks like it has some holes/dimples at the top.

My overall guess is that it is an electric screwdriver.
