I never heard of these before what do they think they doing emailing me?

Don't worry, I'd be worried too if I found AOL installed on my PC.

But in all seriousness, if you've never heard of the company then I wouldn't worry about it. If you have an account on their site or something similar, then sign into it and see if it says anything. Just do NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT sign in through the link in the email.

To be really sure, you could do as SideWinder says and give them a ring. It would probably be your best/safest bet.
