wtf is with this 'summer'?

The weather this year has been utterly crap round these parts (southampton) so far. It's July and all we're getting is thick grey cloud and rain.

Whoever stole summer. I want it back please.

In fact this crappy weather we're getting when it should be nice is just further enforcing my belief that moving abroad is the best course of action for the future. Honestly, this place is just a joke that's getting less funny by the day.

It was mighty fine for quite a few weeks in may-june. Just been rainy for the last week or two, thats all. Anyway we need some summer showers to keep the resevouirs topped up.

I actually hate boiling hot weather.

However this summer is strange - one day hot, next no sun but no wind, you can barely breathe it is so stuffy. Now we have just had a major down pour - including lightning and thunder, and now back to a still calm with no wind, rain or anything :/

I'll be happy if it doesn't get any hotter than the weather we've had recently, 24 degrees C is enough for me.

Got absolutely drenched at dinnertime today. It started raining just as I left work, tipped it down whilst I walked to the butty shop. Then it stopped once I was soaked to the skin and had to squelch back to work with my butties.

Absolutely torrential downpours in Leeds yesterday and for parts of today, just for 5 minutes at a time but it's been enough to create a little river running down the lane behind my house!

Did you have a massive downpour on Saturday? WOW it belted it down in Carvley, yesterday it was thundering and lightning :eek:

its awesome in wimbledon, we got rain, thunder AND lightning, and my brother is bringing home hot dogs! Im so happy!

When im out in it, i use a hood or an umbrella, problem solved

Think its' great regardless of being in or outdoors. Love driving in it too!
