WTF is wrong with google?

Been having some issues with google the last few days.

Problem occurs after I have searched for something.

The search results become greyed out kind of and then I cannot search again for anything by pressing enter or clicking the search button and so I have to open a new tab and search again.

This only happens using Opera so it must be something to do with it.

Any ideas?

Have you got any style modifying addons running? Try disabling addons.

I get it too, Firefox and Chrome. However hitting enter again to refresh the (same) search resolves the issue.

That is to do with instant search. Turn it off.

I'm not keen on instant search myself, it tries to predict what your searching for but doesn't really work.

Yeah same here on Opera, turning off instant search fixed it.

Instant Search working fine here, always has done in Chrome and Firefox. Clear your cookie monsters?

Happens to me on Firefox quite a lot, I also get a problem where when I search for something and it won't load anything (just goes blank) so I have to click the search button again.

I just disable javascript for google. Then they also cannot see which links from the search you are clicking on.
