WTF?! Virgin censoring my web browsing on my phone?

Because Virgin don't own their own network, and therefore piggyback onto T-mobile.

The age verification is part of a voluntary agreement with all mobile networks and ofcom to prevent access to certain information and services (such as unmoderated chat sites) to under 18's.
 
Think yourself lucky, I'm on three and it is massively censored, it's painfull to use.

Or rather it was before I installed Opera Mini, which uses a proxy by default and allows as much smut as you like :D
 
I'm on Orange and got an 'adult' warning thing when I tried to access these very forums once. But then I had another couple of goes and somehow worked in the end
 
if you sign into My TMobile from their website, select phone from the left hand menu.

Look for content lock and make sure this is set to "removed".

See if that makes any difference....
