WTH!!! Steam vanished

I was playign Fm2011 not 1hour ago logged out went to eat..

came back and the entire directory is gone.... all the games the lot which i now have to redownload -.-

Only i have acess to the comp, whats the game o.O

ever experienced this?

sure the folders aint hidden? theres a virus that hides folders i heard

yeah just have a good look, nothing hidden its just vanished, redownloaded steam and it repaired it but i have to dl everything again

luckily my savegames are still in my documents

Steam doesn't just vanish... check recycle bin for silly pranks.

after doing some checking ive found it was 'steamguard' that uninstalled it all, some new steam security thing?

Steam Guard is to stop your account getting compromised.

Nope, I've disabled the Steam Guard as well as it was asking me for the "one-time" code every time I logged in!
