Death Star or Mount Doom, it depends on the day.
Like the title says can anyone recommend a decent WW1/WW2 flight simulator? I have looked at a few, e.g. Rise of Flight and Blazing Angels (which looks crap). I was just wondering if anyone knew of any others, doesnt matter if its old. Dont mind crappy graphics as long as the game plays well. There was a couple I use to love playing on the Amiga, although, I can't rememeber their names.

Yeah I seen that. Is it good then, is it more arcade or realistic?

BTW, I remembered those Amiga games. Knights of the sky and Wings. :-)

That gog.com looks pretty good. Does it auto patch all the games you buy from them and include higher reze's? I was looking at Duke Nukem 3D! lol

Don't think so, you just download the game as far as I know, they're all sorted to work in XP/Vista as far as I can tell though.

IL2 is easy enough to patch with the official patches and there's a guide linked somewhere in one of the older threads about it. There's another official patch coming out somewhen and more to follow we've been told and that's without going into all the stuff that is happening via the hacked source code.

Canvas Knights should be pretty cool :D

With Il2 1946 you get 5 games in 1, and it's on www.gog.com too for $9.99

Thanks for that. I have all the IL2 content, but last time I tried to install it all I lost interest after about 3 CDs and five patches. What a marathon install!

For $10 it's well worth having all that content in one easily accessed place.

You also get the additional Sturmoviks over Manchura and 1946 with it, which unless you managed to buy via some Russian proxy you wont have had :)
