In light of the recent shambles of the World at War weapon sounds, I thought I'd post these videos. All the videos combined are about 50 minutes long.

I think Day of Defeat: Source got the sounds right.

Part 1 - Bolt-Action Rifles.

Part 2 - Semi-Automatic Rifles.

Part 3 - Submachine Guns.

Part 4 - Light MGs and the STG44 Assault Rifle.

Part 5 - Heavy Machineguns and light Bipod MGs.

Glad i'm not the only one that cares about audio in games.

The audio CoD2 is just laughable. It's so far off, specifically the M1 Garand and Gewehr.

United Offensive got it good enough for me.
