There has been a lack of rumours going around this time around (or as far as I'm aware at least)... Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing

They hardly ever show off hardware at WWDC. I don't know why this is surprising. It is a DEVELOPER conference.

Exactly - It was unusual last year because I seem to remember there was some hardware mentioned but that was an exception.

40% speed increase open some applications on older devices. Wonder if it would've been 40% slower had they not been caught slowing them previously.
