Did anyone pick this up today? I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't resist with the single player campaign reliving the Attitude era and having the largest roster in a wrestling game to date.

I just hope I'm not going to be kicking my self for buying the same game year after year (though I did boycott the last three instalments).

It's decent but i feel the attitude era mode doesn't have enough depth. It's just fights with a little info inbetween.

I miss the old PS1 games where they actually had a good story mode. I really feel like there was more depth to the old games than the recent ones.

Yeah I remember how much a leap Smackdown 2 was to 1 before it became a yearly franchise. I always wonder what they could achieve with an extra year of development time.

They never seem to make the game any better within the year. They just seem to add little things to it now. All I want is a story mode as deep as the old ones. That would keep me happy for a while. I'm already bored of the attitude era as there just isn't enough to make it interesting, you get a screen of who had the best ratings at the time and and a bit of info. I'd like more cut scenes and info leading up to the fights.

I bought WWE 12 but was quite disappointed so will be giving this version a miss.

None of them ever seem to come close to PS2's Here Comes the Pain. Where is the weight system in these new titles, it's just laughable that they still have diva's picking up the Big Show.

I enjoy the WWE games so I'll no doubt pick this up, but I have plenty left to do in WWE 12 before I bother picking up 13. It does look good though, I'm sure it'll be as fun as the other installments.

was tempted by this when i saw you can get mike Tyson DLC, last wrestling game i brought was warzone on the Ps1

Seems to have gone backwards since they need add the going backstage stuff again. Used to love exploring what beating the pulp out of other wrestlers.

There's no back stage arenas?

I played a few hours last night and it was surprisingly enjoyable. The on screen prompts make it a little too much about reversing I think but then again it's better than just passively watching. I love there's loads of unlockables and I downloaded a very nice Sting CAW. I will investigate further tonight! Lol.

Dunno mate haven't got 13 my gripe with wrestling games is the lack of backstage areas to explore during matches like for example on 2 you could go up the ramp then backstage to other areas.

I miss the old ones that created an indefinite story about you character, ppv to ppv, raw to raw... Has this happened since? Road to Wrestlemania was just short and too definite.

Am I right in thinking you have to be the frosting with a ginger wig and black underwear? I could never make my own character in story mode like the others... hugely disappointed. I still have the PS2 games and play them, poor graphics but fun to play.
