WWE Wrestlefest (Arcade remake)

I do not see any other threads started on this so i thought i might as well start one as this was the ultimate arcade game for me when i was young alongside sunset riders.I used to love being taken to the local pub by my dad to get some coins inside these babies! I honestly know this game is going to give me at least a few nights of fun with online matched and tag teams for under £10 and hopefully i am not alone in wanting this game :cool:

THQ have announced it will be released in 2012 for iphone,ipad,PC,PS3,Xbox360.The game is going to be released on Steam also and there is already a page on steam for the game!!

Wrestlefest was a great game..

Not one to promote illegal activity, but if only there was an emulator that you could play such a game..

I can't tell you the name of it as I may get mame-d or is that maimed?

also missing a whole host of wrestlefest wrestlers...maybe half of them jeez ... legion of doom, demolition, earthquake, dibase, mr perfect, warrior , hogan....... uhh lol

here ...this is the real wwf wrestlefest not some cheap phone game

Hard to get working? I would like to get sunset riders downloaded also but i have no idea how.I would be suprised if you got banned for emulator talk? It was like 15 years ago when they came out i think lol.Its not like we are discussing crysis 2 torrents.

Oh and how do u know legion of doom are missing guys?

Really bad news it cannot be wrestlefest without bossman or LOD.and speaking of which i really NEED to hear that original soundtrack one more time.

Now onto LOD.I think they are all included in a DLC that comes out after the game for something stupid like £1? They should have just charged the extra 1-2 quid and had it included at launch.

No matter what though i still think there is fun to be had in an offical ocuk tag team tournament

Maybe THQ would consider a full SDVR release on the PC perhaps?

emulator talk is still a no no, doesnt matter on age, its still illegal

If they dont include the orignal soundtracks im going to just open youtube and play it instead.

They should remake Wrestlefest on all consoles for sure.There is something about it that nothing compares to for me.Is it the bright blue inconic ring with the cages up on the sides? Maybe... If they kept the same visual style but updated everything in proper HD with textures but kept the music and gave it some proper controls and animations then i think it would sell.

There is nothing out there that allows everyone to compete in a giant royal rumble online.And the tag teams are also brilliant fun.More so when u can walk outside the ring and pull people feet when they bounce of the ropes.

Ah memories of wrestling games of old.
