www. doesnt work?

Hi All

Could you possibly do me a favor and check if you can find a website at the following addresses:

http://www.westburyasc.co.uk
http://westburyasc.co.uk

You should get a Concrete5 login page come up. I can get the domain without www to work, and so can a mate, but neither of us can connect to anything (or ping) the www. domain, yet my GF says she can access the site on both. If it works for you, great, my ISP is just crap then, but if not, any ideas as to how to fix it welcome!

Nameservers are responding correctly for both, give it a little time and your DNS should sort itself out

I had a similar problem, I switched my DNS to OpenDNS and it worked fine, my ISP's servers took a lot longer to update, openDNS was working within hours of the nameserver change. Clearing your cache can help as well as you may have a negative DNS lookup cached.

Ive just tried at work, and can ping the www. address, but not the striaght domain, but connecting to either in IE gives a dns_server_failure message... which is yet another different scenario! The DNS servers for work though could well be slow/rubbish/useless/dead/missing - it is the NHS after all...

Ill try again at home tonight and see what I can get.

Just give it time for your DNS to catch up.
