Not a fan of IE 7.

I'm still using Firefox because you can open/close tabs with middle scroll-wheel click (Not sure IE 7 can do that?!) and it has interface simplicity.

Firefox has got too resource hungry for what it is, it's plain shocking

IE7 is actually pretty good, it has all the current "browser basics" and does it in a good looking and normal resource using package.

It's been up for absolutely ages now, I thnik since IE 7 was even announced.

Just done a WHOIS on the site actually, the domain has been in ownership since 1999  Somebody was thinking ahead, lawl.

Damnit it just inspired me to go check availability for ie8.com, ie9.com, ie10.com... no go :( Somebody's been on the ball. Nothing much on any of them though.

Hehe, I did exactly the same. I was gonna get ie8.com if it was available... they're all gone though :(

They all seem to be parked & showing ads :(

It's a shame that Firefox sucks, recent versions of it have crashed numerous times for me, or lost settings/bookmarks. I've gotta say I'm impressed with IE7 Beta, it's a great looking browser, few minor niggles here and there, but it's not a bad start on Microsoft' behalf.

Then there's the daddy of all web browsers - Opera. The finest web browser I've ever used, loads up fast, has never crashed for me yet, and is organised in an extremely helpful way.

I like Opera. I've noticed that on Windows it uses 100mb of RAM and when I close it, the process doesnt end, it stays consuming 100mb of RAM.

I've noticed that too. I'll close Opera down, and it'll still have a process running. Currently it's using 38Mb of RAM for me, and that's with a new skin and two tabs open.

I don't mind Opera but it just need the bookmark toolbar like Firefox. When it does, I'll make a switch! Also, does Opera have an extension like Firefox's Adblock Plus?

There is a bookmark toolbar, it's not the same as Firefox' but it's definately there. Here's an image of it in action:

As for the Adblock part, I haven't found one as of yet, though I haven't had a single unwanted popup. The ads were blocked before with Windows Defender iirc.

hmmmmm, if your thinking about the days when you installed IE4 on Windows 95, and it changed the GUI, then nope, its nothing like it

IE4...... now that was buggy :p
Not really... IE4 was awesome. First browser to support CSS and lay the building blocks for AJAX (read: DHTML) - two technologies that Microsoft seem to get very little acknowledgment for. Netscape (the only alternative) in comparison was crap.

Just asking...I just think there's no need for that but thats Microsoft.
Why do you think there's no need for it? Even Firefox has integration into the shell. Otherwise whenever you typed a http:// address into a Explorer address bar or clicked a hyperlink in another piece of software it wouldn't work how the user would expect it to.
