Hey everyone

Just wondering what the general opinion is of the above site? My Live sub has expired and I need to renew it, but MS offer it for £39.99 whereas the bay and sites like Jasper1675.com (which I don't believe is a competitor as OcUK don't seem to sell Live cards) offer it for far less, and it includes a bonus month. Obviously, with the price difference, it begs the question as to just exactly how legit the site is. I'd prefer not to order from the bay as I know some can be dodgy, but what about Jasper1675? I know a lot of people on the net have said they don't have any trouble ordering from there, but I want the opinions of the OcUK peeps as I generally frequent this forum and would prefer the opinion of the people here.

So, anyone had any trouble or know of any issues with ordering from the above site?

EDIT - Just to clarify, Jasper1675.com is 100% legit for buying cards from. I ordered mine from there and have had no issues, and if you check this thread in pages 8 - 10 you'll see that Jasper himself has actually taken the time out to respond to a post regarding just how legit these cards are. So to clarify, if anyone is doubting whether to buy from him, don't. You'll have no problems whatsoever.

Yeah I did a bit of googling too but couldn't find anything that was suspicious but wanted a few more opinions from real people before taking the plunge :)
 
Yeah it is, I was on for about 15 minutes today during lunch to cancel it and sort it out as they had some how managed to bill a credit card that had expired, and that had the wrong address details on it. Go MS!

They'd probably terminate up to the end of the current month, but then again, if you've paid £39.99 they might not refund anything at all and just make you carry on with it.
 
Well I got my code just under an hour after purchase but it won't work for me. I've filled out the Problem Code form on his site so I guess I just wait for a reply now. Hopefully he has just made a typo and will send me the code again soon.
 
Hmm, I don't want to be too quick to jump to conclusions, but after about 3 hours of on and off trying to get it to work, I've ended up calling XBox Support to check the code with them, and they've told me that it isn't valid. He has been in constant communication though, giving me a few bits to try and he even checked the code for typo's etc but there weren't any as far as he could see. I really don't want to tar his good reputation, so I'm gonna hold off on saying I've been conned for now. I just hope there is a mistake somewhere and that it can be resolved by him asap as I want my Live service back again.
 
Well I don't see how MS can penalise us for buying the key, how are we to know that it was generated with a keygen? He has a picture on his site that shows loads of legit cards with his web address written on paper in front of them. He's been selling them for ages and there isn't any negative feedback from him. I doubt they'd ban your Live account just for unknowingly purchasing a key that was generated with a keygen. If you were doing it and were fully aware that it wasn't a legal key then sure, but I don't think so in this situation.

No not had anything back from him yet. I sent him an email asking if he had sent me a US code by mistake, and also to send me some pictures of the back and front of the code card as MS want me to email them a copy of both sides so that they can see what's wrong. A little optimistic I know but if it's all above board then there shouldn't be a problem. I emailed him over 2 hours ago. He did, however, offer me a full refund earlier but I asked him to hold off on that for a bit as I would prefer to get the code working. That was before my call to MS.

Just a quick update. It appears that the original code he sent me was duff. He sent me through a working code this morning and now I've got 13 months of Xbox Live goodness for just over £25. Bargain! Would definitely recommend this site for the gold sub. If you do end up having problems like me, be patient and don't question whether or not it's all legit, as it definitely is and it will work out in the end. Mistakes can sometimes be made as he enters everything in by hand. All in all, I'm very happy now :D

Just because the codes enter correctly does not mean he isnt using a keygen (i'm not saying he is though, as i do not know), as i stated above, it is during the term of the subscription people get caught.

I'm basing that assumption on the fact that I Googled for about 15 minutes yesterday and visited every link that came up on the first 3 pages to check on the legitimacy of the jasper1675 site as I was beginning to think I had been conned. I found nothing at all stating that anyone had experienced any issues with the codes months after purchasing from him. There were also a few posts on the internet questioning the legitimacy of the site and there were responses from the site owner himself, explaining how he had purchased 15000 Xbox Live 12 + 1 pre-paid cards to sell on ebay and then on his own site (which, incidentally, are actually pictured on his website along with the site address on some printed paper). There are also many people singing his praises, who have stated that they would definitely buy from him again.

So, perhaps it isn't legit, but I haven't seen anything yet to prove otherwise and the odds are overwhelmingly stacked in his favour so there is little point in questioning it further.

I'd honestly doubt that we would get a discount for ordering the Live cards. He must have a fairly large amount of orders to fulfil each day, he's pretty much guaranteed a lot of sales at the price he is selling them at, so why would he drop the amount of profit he makes just to be guaranteed 20 - 25 sales in one go when he'd probably make that amount anyway?
 
Wow. Well, I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but I'd like to thank Jasper for his input. I can confirm once again that I ordered my card from the site and my code is 100% perfect, and I had a great service. I have also added a few lines into my original post to say that there is nothing but good service if you order from there, so hopefully any confusion that my original post might cause will be removed.

If you bought them from Jasper, he lives in America and so wouldn't be around to respond to any mails yet as it is only just morning over there now. He usually responds just after 10am US time, so there are a couple of hours to go before you should expect to receive something back from him.

As has been mentioned here too, if you've never bought from him before, he won't supply you now for whatever reason. He will refund you though.
