I think that the WXGA netbooks are perfect with regard to the amount of screen real estate they offer. What are my choices of netbooks with this display type.

I know that the Compaq Mini 311c offers this display but what other options are available?

Other things on the wish list:

Chicklet keys
Matt chassis
Larg trackpad

The knew Asus netbook look amazing but shame about the screens :(

Just got an Acer 1810TZ after much deliberation and am very happy with it. 11.6" screen though and bit more of an ultra portable in terms of CPU power.

Packard Bell DOT MA has the 1366x768 screen and also comes with 2gig of ram as well.
Had mine for 8 months now, running Windows Server 2008 R2 with workstation mods so it looks just like Windows 7. Cracking good buy.

Msi Wind U230, trackpad is good, not especially big though. Full gloss finish, not what you are after but looks superb, sort of spaced out keys, and a beautiful 720p screen.

I have this laptop, and can highly reccomend it, it also has the new AMD neo processors.

also note that it has windows 7 home premium!!

The Parckard Bell logo on the top looks a bit naff....

TO be honest I really want the HP as I have held the netbook in my hand (well the old version) and it feels and looks really nice.
