X box series x pad on pc problems

Hi,
Had a series s/x x box controller on pc for ages now, on Bluetooth it always drops out in game it's highly frustrating, so always ended up using a usbc lead. Same thing happens on my sons pc with his too.
Does anyone know if the

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is also compatible with these controllers as it uses microsofts own wireless signal and not Bluetooth so could possibly be the answer if I can find an original one somewhere, ebay has loads but I doubt they'll be authentic​

That adapter is exactly for the Xbox controllers on PC. Better than Bluetooth for sure.

Great, I'll get one then. I could only see they were compatible with x box one controllers not series x

I have used my Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 with both Xbox One and Series X controllers.

only place I can find them look shady! god sake why does nowhere stock them??? I see legit places selling them with a controller, but not seperate

adapter works great

where did you purchase your one from? the official Microsoft site doesn't have stock. I don't think amazon or Ebay's will be authentic - it's just the kind of thing that will be fake

Oh ok thanks, maybe that's what I need to do get a pack and at least I'll have a spare controller then
