Hi Guys I did post this a month or so ago but no answers so just trying again

I purchased a full kit from OCuk which uses a CN Storm Trooper Case. At the front apart from the usual extra bays there is something called an X-DOCK. By the looks of it you literaly slip in, id guess some form of flash memory.

The question is simply is this slot used for slipping in an SSD, as i would like to add another ssd to my system and a bit wary of doing so inside for "im an idiot' reasons. So if it is a slot for slipping in a SSD it would be really handy for this numbskull to add extra ssd / memory space etc

any advice really would be apreciated

it is a slot that can be used for any 2.5" Sata ssd or hdd. Just make sure it is hooked up to your motherboard internally.

ahaa cheers I sort of hoped hat was the case. yep will check its got a power cable to it etc... Ive just been reading the OCuk ssd guide and its sates about

Simple Dont's:
Don't install your SSD in an overclocked rig.

mine is ocverclocked. Im guessing if i instal a new ssd either in the drive bays interanlly or in the x dock it will perhaps lose my overclocking setting ?

Unless someone has been software overclocking (OcUK wouldn't do that) the overclock settings will be stored in the BIOS so won't be lost if you change drives.
