X-Fi and 5.1 Speaker Problems

Hey, looked through archives but could'nt find anything!

Just installed my X-Fi but i wont allow 5.1 speaker playback. It's fine in CS:S but playing music through iTunes will only play through 2 speakers. Has anyone got any suggestions as to fixing this??

You want to mess with your CMSS-3D settings to upmix the audio to all channels. This can either be done through the audio console or the dodgey gui thing you get.

ok well, visited the creative website. Got a big thing on this. My console doesnt seem to have a tab for this! i have eax enabled but theres nothing else! different drivers??

nope, i used the drivers that came with the thing, got it off fleebay!

Do you have a link to the drives you used??

Fixed it, turns out when you have the audio tab selected you dont get the cmss tab thingy. Only in gamer and entertainment do you get it.
