X-Fi applications issue

Hi folks,

I've just bought myself an X-FI Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty and went to the Creative website to grab all the drivers and apps. The driver have installed fine but when trying to install the Console Launcher app it begins the install then comes up with the message:
"Please Insert Disk 1 That Contains the File layout.bin"
and prompts me to browse for the file. I googled the term above and found this page and gave that a try but I get the same error.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Finally figured it out in case anyone needs to know...
I used winrar to extract all the files into a folder and then ran the setup directly from there instead of relying on the self extractor that was deleting files before they had been used..

I also had this problem. I just searched for the file and it was in a different folder to the one the installer was looking.

Hmmm I did a search and found the file it then failed after that part?

The above fix worked a treat though...

All I needed to do was mute my mic as I can hear myself via my headset... this fixed it though so I can mute it...
