X-Fi Elite Pro breakout box not working

I've reinstalled my PC but the breakout box for the Elite Pro's not working. I've tried reattaching it and reinstalling the creative drivers etc.. but it's still the same.

Anyone else encountered this ?

Have you got the floppy power adaptor plugged into the pci card? Only other thing really to check is the cable between the card and the box. Easiest way to check its working is to look for a red light behind one of the optical connectors.
