X-Fi Extreme Audio for Music

I don't really know the ins and outs of the X-Fi Extreme Audio, but would someone be able to tell me if it's good enough for playing music through 5.1 speaker set? It won't be used for gaming at all. In addition, can a microphone be connected at the same as 5.1 speaker set?

EDIT - In addition, I notice OCUK are selling a keenly price Audigy SE card... how would this be for the same usage?

If its just for music the Extreme audio will be fine, its just no goood for games

Which would you recommend... the Audigy SE or the X-Fi Extreme Audio? Thanks.

Well if you plan to do a little gaming then go fot the audigy se as it at least supports basic EAX.

If not use the X-Fi as for music its ideal and has good quality sound
