X-FI Extreme Music Advice

I currently have the above card and am getting a little miffed with having to change the jacks over on the back of the card when moving from Headphones to Speakers and vice versa.

Is there anything I can get that would enable me to just swap jacks over while sat at my desk. An external drive bay perhaps or anything else for that matter.

Unfortunately I have the SB0460 model that does not come with the Intel Front Panel header

Any help appreciated

Just make a wee switch box.

That connects a 1/8th jack-jack cable from the computer to the box.

The have two outputs that you switch between, one for headphones, one for speakers.

You can just buy a splitter, it only costs a couple of quid.

Or you could buy digital speakers and use the spdif for those, and the analogue for your headphones.
