Just installed one of these into my new pc build, my mobo is a Abit IP35 Pro, now i noticed when i was fitting the card when i tightened the mounting screw on the case it pulled the card out of the mobo slightly so i had to hold it in while tightening the screw. But now when i try to install the drivers on Windows Vista is says that it cant detect any compatable products. There is symbol on the actual side of the sound card that is lite up, so i know that the card is getting power to to from the mobo. Any ideas??

Sounds like it is not seated properly in the slot. Have you tried another slot for the soundcard? Does Device Manager pick up any new "plug & play" hardware? If not, sounds as though it's not pushed in properly. (I had a similar issue with my wireless network card as it uses the tiny PCI-X slot).
