X-FI Gamer or Onboard

hi guys

ive got a XFX NFORCE 680I LT SLI mobo, with 8 Channel HD audio, is this card still going to beat it? (Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer)

will i really notice a difference between the two? i have the creative fatal1ty headset.

Well the X-Fi will sound better than the onboard but id go for the extreme music or fatality personally as they are better quality cards

I used to think that the on-board sound was good enough.. i was wrong! when i got my X-Fi xtreme Gamer, the sound it produced was totally amazing. crisp and clearer sound for gaming and even my music. and im only using AE Aego 2.1! worth the purchase

its always the way, once you try the better ones the cheap ones that you've been content with for years will sound rubbish
