Any of you guys just leave your x-fi on game mode??

With the setings ive chosen, music and games sound good on game mode.

I have the CMSS-3D on stereo surround and have the upmixon auto, So all stereo singnals will sound on all 4 speakers but not the center speaker. and and 3d sound games I play or dvds, the CMSS-3D is automatically disabled

And Ive got the 24bit crystalizer on

Im thinking who wants entertainment mode?? do I need it?

I keep mine on entertainment most of the time, with CMSS-3DVirtual at 50%, which is good for music and movies.
I change to game mode for playing games (unless i forget) with CMSS-3D stereo surround at 25%.
Not much difference in games really, but a big difference in listening to music between the two modes.

Interesting. In gaming mode, CMSS is either "On" or "Off" for me.

In theory, the "right settings are": Audio Creation mode for music listening, CMSS on (Entertainment mode) for movies, and CMSS on (Gaming mode) for games.
For me: Audio Creation mode for music listening, CMSS on (Entertainment mode) for movies, and CMSS off (Gaming mode) for games.
For you: Whatever your ears tell you is best.

[Audio creation mode is normally recommended for music listenning because it is the mode that doesn't resample. Still if you like Crystalizer/EAX/CMSS for your music, then use other modes as you see fit]
