X-Fi not picking up back panel Mic

Model: Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series

Installed the drivers and what not, the odd software which will let me adjust the sounds.

However its not letting me select the mic from the back panel.

Should i just disconnect my front panel audio? (i don't NEED to use it, though its handy)

Or would you recommend a fresh install of the card (oh joy)

There should be 2 different microphone settings,you should see 2 microphones once you install that card (make sure in windows audio panel it is showing all the recording devices, Microphone FP (front panel) and Microphone which is the back of the card.
