X-Fi or Live! 24?

Sorry I wasn't very thorough, I do use my Marshall as a preamp before going into the line in. Funnily enough I also have the zoom pedal you mentioned.

I've never heard of this boss FX board, what exactly does it do?

Edit: Ah, the boss is an effects pedal like my zoom.

I use my marshall as a preamp for my electric guitar, my bass and also my drum machines.
